Amb. Kabral Blay-AmihereChairman
Amb. Kabral Blay-Amihere is a former Diplomat, Journalist and Writer. He served as High Commissioner to Sierra Leone from 2001-2005 and Ambassador to Cote d"Ivoire from 2006 to 2009. As an envoy of Ghana, he strengthened bilateral relations between Ghana and Sierra Leone and Cote d"Ivoire and assisted several Ghanaian companies to establish in the two countries. In a career lasting 25 years in journalism before his transition to diplomacy, Amb. Blay-Amihere served in the leadership of national, regional and international media organizations. He was the Chairman of the National Media Commission for two terms, from 2009-2015. He has authored five books. A football enthusiast, he also served for six years as Director of Africa"s Football Club of the Century, Kumasi Asante Kotoko. Amb. Blay-Amihere attended St. Augustine"s College in Cape Coast and is an alumnus of the University of Ghana, Legon and the London School of Economics. He is also a Nieman Fellow, "91, of Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts.
