Ing. Mark Baah was appointed Director, Corporate Strategy in March 2024. He doubles as the Advisor to the Chief Executive on Implementing the Ghana Wholesale Electricity Market (GWEN).

Before this appointment, Ing. Baah served as Director of Southern Network Services at Ghana Grid Company Limited from 2022.

As the Director in charge of the southern sector grid, he provides leadership to Managers in the area of power transmission assets maintenance, improvement and optimization including programme plan for the reliable operation of the National Interconnected System of Ghana. Mark was previously Director, System Operations and Manager, Market Operations and the Special Assistant to the Chief Executive of GRIDCo and He was instrumental in the transition and operationalisation of GRIDCo. Mark holds degrees in Electrical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), an MSc. degree in Electromechanical Engineering from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute and an MBA from Leeds University Business School.

He is a member of Ghana Institution of Engineers (GhIE).
