DANIEL AMAR AMARTEY was appointed Director of Technical Services at Ghana Grid Company Limited in 2022.

Before his appointment, he was the Director, Southern Network Services and Manager in charge of Research and Network Innovations at the Ghana Grid Company. He has previously worked as the Area and Systems Protection and Control Engineer in the Transmission Systems Department of the Volta River Authority. He has also worked as an Electrical Engineer for the Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL). He holds an MSc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Sofia, Bulgaria and an Executive MBA from University of Ghana Business School (UGBS).

He is a Member of Ghana Institution of Engineers (GhIE).
