Francis Arthur

DIRECTOR, SOUTHERN NETWORK

Ing. Francis Arthur is a dynamic and results-driven engineering professional with a strong background in power system development and project execution.

On April 22, 2025, he was appointed Director of the Southern Network Department, following his tenure as Director of Engineering, a position he held since March 2024.

Throughout his career, Ing. Arthur has played a pivotal role in the design and implementation of over ten major infrastructure projects, each averaging approximately USD 25 million.

He began his professional journey as both a Design Engineer and Project Engineer, gaining valuable hands-on experience. He steadily progressed through leadership roles, including Manager of Design & Standards and Manager of Project Management. These positions enhanced his ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams, drive technical innovation, and manage complex engineering challenges.

He holds an MBA from the University of Ghana Business School and a BSc. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

Francis is also a member of the Ghana Institution of Engineering (GhIE), reflecting his commitment to professional excellence and the advancement of engineering standards.
