Mr. Joseph Dakora Zumasigee was assigned on March 26, 2025, to oversee operations of the Human Resources Department, following the retirement of Ms. Florence Agyei, the immediate past Director H.R.

He is the substantial Manager, Monitoring and Financial Audit in the Audit Department, a position he has held since November 2023. Prior to this role, Mr. Zumasigee served as Manager, Audits of the same department from May 2015.

Joseph joined GRIDCo from the Volta River Authority (VRA) in April 2004 to date, he has a combined 20 years’ working experience in both companies. Prior to joining the VRA, he worked with Unilever Ghana Limited as well as Badiko Suglo & Associates (Chartered Accountants). He also worked at Bigelow Tea Inc., USA and served on the Audit Committee of the Ghana Institute of Languages (now part of the University of Media, Communication and Arts).

Mr. Zumasigee is an alumnus of the Sacred Heart University, Connecticut, USA and the University of Ghana, Legon.

He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants; a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG); a member of ISACA, Accra Chapter; and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (both Ghana and Global).

With over seven (7) years’ experience serving on the Governing Council, Mr. Zumasigee is presently the President of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Ghana. He also serves on committees of the Institute of Internal Auditors at both the Continental and International levels.
