Ing. Bismark Anane is the first Director of Land Management in GRIDCo. He is an electrical engineer with varied operations and management experience covering over 20 years.

Prior to his appointment as Director in March 2024, Ing. Anane served as Manager, Network Maintenance, Northern Network Department (NND) from March 2022 to February 2024.

Between August 2008 and February 2022, Ing. Anane has undertaken various roles in NND as Area Manager for Kumasi from February 2020 – February 2022, and Tamale Area Manager between July 2018 -January 2020. He has also served as Manager, Technical & Business Support, and Ag. Area Manager for Techiman for the then Northern Network Services, (NNS).

Ing. Anane joined VRA/GRIDCo in 2005. He holds two post-graduate Masters: an MPA from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and an MEng. (Industrial Operations) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, (KNUST) Kumasi. He is an alumnus of the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria graduating in 2002 with a BEng. in Electrical Engineering.

Ing. Anane also holds professional memberships with the Ghana Institution of Engineering (Senior Professional Engineer-SPE) and is an Associate Member, Institute of Asset Management, UK.
