Hon. Solomon Kuyon is currently serving his second term as Member of Parliament for the Krachi Nchumuru Constituency in the Oti Region. He is a legislator with a professional background in education and governance.

In Parliament, he has served on various Committees. In the 8th Parliament, he served as a member of the Committee of Youth, Sports and Culture and the Committee of Members Holding Office of Profit. In the 9th Parliament, he currently serves as a Ranking Member, Committee of Members Holding Office of Profit, Vice Chairman for Committee of Youth and Sports, a member of the Education Committee and a member of the Committee on Judiciary.

He was previously the District Chief Executive for Krachi Nchumuru District Assembly in the Chinderi Oti Region, where he chaired multiple committees including the District Security Council, Executive Committee, Disaster Control Committee, Education Oversight, HIV/AIDS and Public Health & Epidemic Management. He was a member of the District Audit Committee.

Additionally, he held leadership roles as Vice President of the National Union of Harbour Employees from 2005 to 2006 and Organizer of the Nankpantiib Youth Association, from 2000 to 2012.

Hon. Kuyon holds a Master of Arts degree in Democracy, Governance, Law, and Development from the University of Cape Coast. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Adult Education from the University of Ghana, Legon, as well as a Diploma in Youth Development Work from the same institution.

He completed his G.C.E. ‘A’ Level at Top Nurse Pre-Degree School, Accra and his G.C.E. ‘O’ Level at Ghana Secondary School, Tamale.
