SVG Equipment Commissioned into Service at Cardinal Namdini Mining – Upper East Region

A team of GRIDCo’s Engineers and Technician Engineers have successfully assisted Cardinal Namdini Mining in Bolgatanga to install and commission a 40MVAR Static Var Generator (SVG) at the Goldmine. Static Var Generators are advanced power electronics devices used in electrical systems to regulate voltage, by absorbing and injecting reactive current. It also improves power quality.
