Organisers of the Africa Energy Technology Conference (AETC) paid a courtesy call on the Ag. Chief Executive of GRIDCo, Ing. Mark Awuah Baah.
In a brief meeting, Ms. Emelia Akumah, the Founder and President of the Africa Energy Technology Centre (AETC), was grateful to the Ag. Chief Executive for his immense support, especially as a panel discussant. She expressed optimism in seeing stronger synergy in the energy sector. “The conversations should not end at the conference” she noted.
Commending the coordination of the AETC event, Ing. Mark Baah commended the team for a successful conference. “You brought together a number of thought leaders in the energy sector, who shared and discussed significant ideas,” he said. “My wish is to see a broader coverage and participation next time,” Ing. Baah added. The Ag. Chief Executive pleased to observe the conference afforded a learning opportunity for many.
Ms. Akumah recommended the holding of regular seminars, workshops and discussions to shape the next conference agenda, noting that AETC looks forward to a more sustained partnership.
In appreciation for GRIDCo’s support and Ing. Baah’s participation at the just ended confab, Ms. Akumah presented a citation, while Ing. Mark Baah thanked AETC team for the recognition.
The Africa Energy Technology Conference (AETC) was held from May 27-29, 2025, at the Labadi Beach Hotel under the theme: “Innovate, Invest, Implement: Revolutionised Financing for Sustainable Energy Sector Growth in Africa”.
