12 Former Directors of the Ghana Grid Company have been recognised for their hard work and contribution to the company. Hosted by the Board, Chief Executive and Management of GRIDCo on Tuesday, 22nd November, 2022, the essence of the Appreciation Lunch Event, was to acknowledge and honour these 12 Retired Directors for their years of sacrifice, and various instrumental roles played in GRIDCo’s growth.
Welcoming the guests, the Chief Executive (CE), Ing. Ebenezer Kofi Essienyi expressed gratitude to the Retired Directors for making time to honour GRIDCo’s invitation for the first ever gathering of this nature. Ing. Essienyi noted that, “if there is anything we can do further as those in Management, kindly, do not hesitate to let us know. We appreciate you all for the support that you have given us throughout our years with GRIDCo”.
Speaking on behalf of the Retirees, Rev. Ing. Samuel Kwofie commended Management for initiating the event since it was the first of its kind for them. Rev. Ing. Kwofie was full of praise for the Management Staff saying, “I will want to recommend Psalm 34:10, Those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing. I believe we all recognise that it is God who has kept GRIDCo going, considering the beginning of GRIDCo and how we have thrived along the path, the challenges that we have had. So, let us continue that way, and all get involved professionally, and I assure you that all will be well with GRIDCo”.
In attendance was the GRIDCo Board Chairman, Amb. Kabral Blay-Amihere and some members of Board, Management Staff and some staff of the Human Resource Department, and the Corporate Communications Team.
