The West Africa Energy Programme (WAEP) has organised a training program for GRIDCo Staff and other energy sector agencies.
This is a completion of training which began on Friday 5th August, 2022 and is to build staff’s capacity and further equip them with skills and knowledge.
In all, twenty-six (26) GRIDCo staff participated in the training drawn from the Office of the Chief Executive, the Finance, Engineering and other departments.
WAEP is an initiative with support from USAID, which offers technical assistance, transaction advisory support, and capacity building to stakeholders to facilitate power generation, transmission, and distribution projects in Africa, hence the training in fulfilment of that.
The training ended on Friday, 19th August 2022.
