A two-member team from the Transmission companies of the Cote Ivoire, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea (CLSG) interconnectivity project has paid a working visit to GRIDCo.
The four (4) day visit from 2nd May to 4th May, 2023, followed initial discussions held in September 2021 about areas of collaboration between the two entities, especially in the commercialisation of spare fibre optic.
The delegation comprised the Commercial Liaison Officer, Ms. Nabi Seshie and Project Engineer Mr. Arnaud Odi.
Over the years GRIDCo has taken steps to commercialise its fiber optic assets under its GRID Consult Section, a subset of its business. As part of the programme the team held discussions with the Chief Executive of GRIDCo, Ing. Ebenezer Essienyi.
Key functional heads of GRIDCo took turns to make presentations on strategic areas of the telecommunication business and how far GRIDCo has built and made fibre a critical business area.
