Dzifa Bampoh, a veteran Journalist and Communications Professional has joined the Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo) as Manager, Corporate Communications effective 1st August,2022.
Asked how she feels about joining the GRIDCo Team, her response was
I am thrilled to join another engineering company, supporting the executive team, communicating the relevance of GRIDCo’s engineering projects and activities, whiles demonstrating the value of its highly capable team, and the Company’s contribution to Ghana. I hope my role in GRIDCo, will significantly impact our Company’s image, brand, and reputation in the not-so-distant future.
Dzifa Bampoh, who has more than two decades of communications experience is passionate about image-making and stakeholder relations.
Prior to joining GRIDCo, Dzifa was Head of News at TV3. But her corporate communications career began with Tullow Ghana Ltd. (TGL), serving as Corporate Affairs and Investor Relations Manager for three and half years. She joined TGL after more than a decade of work with Multimedia’s Joy FM.
Dzifa, an alumnus of Achimota School, holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and History and a Master of Arts in Communications, both from the prestigious University of Ghana. She is also an alumnus of the DW Akademie in Bonn, Germany (2006) & Reuters Nairobi, Kenya (2004).
She began her rotation through each department to familiarise herself with their operations and activities.
