The Minister in charge of Energy and Green Transition, Mr. John Abdulai Jinapor has formally taken office after being sworn-in by the President of the Republic, John Mahama.
The sector was renamed to Energy and Green Transition by the President of the Republic, following a re-alignment of various ministerial sectors.
Hon. Jinapor, who is the MP for Yapei-Kusawgu was the ranking member on Energy in parliament. He is a triple master’s degree holder in Energy Economics, Development Finance, and Marketing.
He has been charged by the President to ensure that Ghanaians “have stable and efficient power supply”.
